Well done to everyone who came and had a go, we hope to see you at another event soon. Thank you to everyone who helped with course building, judging, scoring, poo picking and taking the course down – we couldn’t do it without you!

Freelance TREC Trainers
Two club members have taken out SEIB instructors insurance and offer TREC training on a freelance basis:
Evie O’Keeffe
Evie has been competing at level 2 and 3 for over 10 years along with judging and organising competitions, and loves training TREC riders from complete newcomers to level 3s. Take a look at www.trec-training.uk for prices & availability, contact evie@trec-training.uk or 07939 471564 to book.
Kathryn Rollinson
TREC Training can be carried out in the North East (North Yorkshire upwards) by Kathryn Rollinson, International TREC Rider. Kathryn has successfully been teaching TREC for some time and would be willing to help where it is most needed.  Fully insured and a member of TREC GB please do not hesitate to contact Kathryn on 0792133964 or direct to highlaithes@icloud.com for full details.

Endurance GB
Endurance GB allow BRC members to join for free as ‘club’ members:
http://endurancegb.co.uk/main/Joining/Club-Membership
Club membership allows you to enter EGB group pleasure rides at members rates as an individual, which is great to get you out and about between TREC competitions. It also enables you to join a BRC team of 3-6 people at any 30-42km Graded Ride without having to register your horse (no individuals – the organiser must be notified of the intention to enter a team by the WHTG team manager Ruth). Graded rides must be completed at between 8 and 15kph. You do not have to go round the ride together, as long as 3 people out of the team attend. Speed and heart rate on finishing determine your grade and points, the top team in each region is awarded a place at the final which will take place at the Lions Tail Ride on 17/18 September.

If you would be interested in forming a WHTG team (we can have several teams if lots of people are interested) please join EBG as a club member then email ruth@white-horse-trec.co.uk with your club membership number and the counties/areas/specific rides you would be willing to compete in. If you want to join EGB as a club member and do not know your WHTG membership number, please contact caroline@white-horse-trec.co.uk
