WHTG / BHS Arena TREC  Competition 20th March 2016
Yorkshire Riding Centre, Barolin Farm, Markington, Harrogate HG3 3PE

We’ve had an amazing entry for our Winter TREC competition this weekend – please read the competitor information below and you’ll find the start times at the end.

 Directions
The venue post code is HG3 3PE. In Markington turn left (From the south) onto Westerns Lane and follow it for approx 0.5 mile and then look for the entrance on your right. There will be a TREC sign hopefully..  Caution, the road is quite narrow and bendy.

Arrival at the Venue
When you arrive at YRC, please follow the stewards’ instructions for parking. Please do not leave ANYTHING in the car park – hay, haylage, droppings etc. should be taken home with you.

Times, Arena and Rosettes
We’ll do our best to keep to time on the day, so please help us by being ready to start early if required.
There is a warm up with access to the main arena and even a small standing area where you can see into the main arena. Please keep an eye on the competitors before you and listen to the collecting ring steward’s instructions, so we don’t keep our kind volunteer judges waiting unnecessarily. Number bibs can be collected from the secretary in the lean to next to the main arena, before you start, please return these afterwards and then you can pick up your competitor’s rosette.

Refreshments
There will be a caterer, serving hot and cold food, open during the day so hopefully you’ll be well fed and watered! Please remember to bring some cash with you and support them.

Photographer
We have a photographer coming who can print on site. She said she usually charges people: 7 X 5 – £6,  8×6 – £8,  A4 – £12,     JPEG £5   All images of you on a CD £20   A5 montage £20,  A4 montage £25 Both her website and facebook pages are here: www.facebook.com/amygriffithsphotography  www.amysgriffiths.wix.com/photography

Course Walking
The course can be walked in the short break between each class and hopefully from 8.45am on the day. We’ll do a guided course walk, if required, during the lunch break which is before Class 4 the Unaffiliated Starter. Please look at the course plan which will be displayed and read the judging sheets before this if possible. Any questions please ask. We’re happy to give help and advice on the day and want everyone to have fun.
Obstacle lists for all classes

Obstacles
The rules for the  obstacles we are using for the competition can be found in the TREC GB rulebook, and will be displayed in the viewing gallery.

Scores, Results and Winter TREC League Scores will be displayed as soon as possible. Individual score sheets for every rider and a competitor rosette for the day will be available in the warm viewing gallery at the end of each class, once the scores have been checked. If you cannot stay to collect these and want them posted please leave a SAE with a LARGE LETTER stamp or a £1 coin with your name.

Help would really be appreciated at the end if you are still around to pack up and clear away.
