This diary contains details of events & training run by White Horse TREC Group, other TREC events in our area that may be of interest, and British Riding Club team events. The TREC GB calendar lists all affiliated TREC events in the UK.

We would be unable to run any events without the valuable support and help of our wonderful volunteers. To offer your help (or a willing friend or relative!) please contact the named organiser direct. We understand that you would like to compete as often as you can, and it’s often possible to fit in judging around your own riding time, as well as other ways to help such as setting up the PTV course or taking the entries beforehand.

25/2/19 With immediate effect TREC GB requires that all events involving equines should insist that vaccinations are up to date (12 month cycle) and check passports before horses are unloaded. Horses that have had their annual vaccination or a booster, within the last six days should not be allowed to attend. See the full information here.

The WHTG winter league

The top placed rider in each league will win a voucher for Performance Equestrian, long time supporters of TREC and suppliers of a huge range of kit. We’ll mirror the way the TREC GB league scoring works, with your best 4 results at WHTG competitions to count. You’ll get 10 points for 1st, 9 for 2nd and so on down to 1 point for 10th.
There will be leagues for in hand, starter, all five TREC GB classes and a special Young Rider league for U21 members to enter (YR results in any class will count).
Non-members have one week to join from the competition date, for scores to count.
We’ll award lovely rosettes down to 6th, and if there’s sufficient interest we’ll have a social event for presentations in the spring.
You’ll only be eligible for the league if you help for at least half a day at one WHTG winter competition – this can include course building, packing away, picking up poles or stewarding the warm up between classes as well as judging other classes – every little helps so please contact the relevant organiser to volunteer your time.
