Events

This diary contains details of events & training run by White Horse TREC Group.
The TREC GB calendar lists all affiliated TREC events in the UK.

We would be unable to run any events without the valuable support and help of our wonderful volunteers. To offer your help (or a willing friend or relative!) please contact the named organiser direct. We understand that you would like to compete as often as you can, and it’s often possible to fit in judging around your own riding time, as well as other ways to help such as setting up the PTV course or taking the entries beforehand.

TREC GB requires that vaccinations are up to date (12 month cycle) and we will check passports before horses are unloaded. Horses that have had their annual vaccination or a booster, within the last six days will not be allowed to attend.

PTV / XC Training with Harriet Morris-Baumber, Everingham, East Yorkshire, YO42 4LQ – Sunday 16th May

Booking Form 16th May

COVID restrictions permitting, we have arranged some training with a fantastic event coach, Harriet Morris-Baumber at her yard. Harriet has her own XC schooling field with a variety of XC fences, water jump, ditch, bank and the sandy soil provides excellent going. There are also dips and undulations so we’ll be able to make use of this to practice some TREC obstacles. Ideal preparation summer TREC events which we hope will go ahead – fingers crossed!

The provisional dates for this are 24/04/2021 and 16/05/2021. This will be for groups of 3 riders for 1 hour. Cost will be  £22.50/rider/session for WHTG members and £25/rider/session for non-members. Numbers will be limited to 3 groups per date.

If you are interested in either of these sessions, please email marie@white-horse-trec.co.uk and advise which date you’re interested in, what TREC experience you & your horse have and what height you are comfortable jumping.
